Michael Jordan continued to sport them after the NBA ban due to the colourway. And they quickly became one of the fastest selling AJ1’s. Using that exact red and black colourway, Nike have switched out leather for the flexible, breathable Flyknit to dress these high-tops. The red tick remains leather as does the red AJ stitched logo.
